Formerly known as The Academy of Nail Careers, BellaKy Academy of Beauty was created to reflect our growth, vision, and commitment to the future of beauty education. What began as a nail-focused institution has evolved into a comprehensive academy offering high-quality training in Nail Technology and Esthetics, designed to prepare students for real careers in today’s beauty industry.

Founded and directed by Erica Figueroa—a salon owner with over 12 years of industry experience and recognized by the community as part of Sanford’s Best—our academy was built with one goal in mind: to give students the confidence, structure, and hands-on experience they need to succeed.

Our transition to BellaKy Academy of Beauty represents more than a name change. It reflects our expanded programs, elevated standards, and dedication to educating well-rounded beauty professionals. We believe success goes beyond technical skill, which is why our curriculum blends hands-on training, safety and science, client care, and essential business education.

Founder & Campus Director
Erica Figueroa is the Campus Director of BellaKy Academy of Beauty (formerly The Academy of Nail Careers). With over 12 years in the beauty industry and 7 years as a salon owner, Erica created a program designed to give students what many were missing—confidence, structure, and a strong foundation. Her vision focuses on hands-on education, guided learning, and preparing future professionals to succeed in real-world careers.
